Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit alexandredemiguel.ch or write to us, and why. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the European Union, on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Contact and estimation forms

When you use a form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if given, the subject and your message, as well as any photographs or files attached to an estimation request. This data is used only to answer your request and prepare the estimation. It is never sold or used for advertising, and is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.

3. Visit statistics and security

We measure visits with WP Statistics, installed on our own server: IP addresses are anonymised, no cookie is set and no data is shared with third parties. To protect the site against attacks, our server and the Wordfence security plugin record technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested), kept for a limited period.

4. Providers and third party services

  • Hosting: the site is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva.
  • Form protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that forms are sent by a person, not a robot; for this purpose Cloudflare Inc. processes your IP address and technical browser data.
  • Map: the Contact page shows a Google Maps map; when it loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which may process your IP address and set cookies.
  • LinkedIn: the footer contains a plain link to our page; no data is sent to LinkedIn unless you click it.

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Both companies are certified under the Swiss and US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the Swiss Federal Council.

5. Cookies

Our site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Technical cookies may be set by Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the forms, and by Google when the map is shown. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, although the forms or the map may then stop working.

6. Your rights

You may at any time ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing or withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, please use our contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country.
